The O.R.D.E.N. Method
A way of asking better questions.
Five letters, five questions, in this order. Not a certification or a guarantee: it is how I avoid recommending anything before understanding your situation.
| O | Wealth organisation We put what you own on one map, and what each thing is for. | What do you have, and what is it for? |
| R | Risks and legal protection We look for the part that, if it fails, drags the rest down, and check how it is protected. | Which part would affect everything else? |
| D | Physical diversification Company, bank, person or system: we measure how much hangs on one place, and what share makes sense in physical assets. | Who does each thing depend on? |
| E | Savings structure We separate what you need now, later and in the long run. | What do you need, and when? |
| N | Navigation Ongoing guidance and periodic long-term review, so no decision goes stale. | What needs reviewing this year? |
How it is used
We start with the O and don't skip steps. Often, just seeing the full map answers half the questions: what is surplus, what is missing and what hangs on a single place becomes visible.
The N is the one most often forgotten. A good decision made ten years ago can be a risk today, which is why every map comes with a review date.
Why the letters are Spanish: O.R.D.E.N. means «order» in Spanish, the name under which the method is registered and distributed.
Start on your own
The O.R.D.E.N. Roadmap brings the five questions together on one page so you can start before talking to anyone.
